Samantha Spade and the Maddening Melody

Act sharp and DON'T fall flat, Toons! Samantha Spade, PI, and I'd like to ask you a few questions about a case I'm investigating... Not because you're involved, but because I'm stumped. A little... too stumped.
I don't step into the limelight often, you see. It's only when I've come up with lemons that I do what I must. I'm a whistleblower. A truth-seeker. A whistle... seeker? (That definitely sounded better in my head.) Today, I turn my private-eye spyglass in the direction of none other than our very own Toon Resistance!
A shocking twist! Rest assured, though, I have seen nothing sinister afoot (yet). What I have in my possession is in fact: intel belonging to the Resistance! It's clearly tip-top secret. Deeply undercover. And I'm here to get it out there and crack this case wide open! Get a load of this:
It's been years. I never thought I'd see it again. The 26th. But why? Why does this solved mystery continue to plague me past its expiration? I can only brood over the same arbitrary number for so long. I must simply move on. Here's the rest:
Let me tell you, I've pursued many an instrument in attempting to solve this riddle. I bought toothpaste for my tuba. I snagged a harpsichord from Bossbot Headquarters. I even self-taught accordion to figure this one out. But no matter how you play it, this 'music' is actually nothing but a callous cacophony. Or, as the title says... a maddening melody, eh? Sufficient to fool a scowly Cog... but not a happy Toon. Sneaky.
These three lonely pieces of sheet music are all I've found, and I have reason to believe they're the complete set. As to what in the name of Sherlock they mean... I leave it up to you, Toons of the world. I've got a hunch and a half here, and I can't wait to see what truths may lie in wait to uncover.

Interesting. Judging from the date that seems like it may have been the day the Rewritten timeline's "servers" were first turned on.
What is the Resistance up to? What are they hiding? More and more questions than answers, it seems. Guess I am gonna sit down and relearn my notes.
I'm somewhat of a musician myself and even I have no idea what this piece sounds like. And I bet if I tried to play it, it would just end up sounding like a big ol' gobbledygook-fest.
Can't wait to figure this one out!

Interesting sheet music we have here, lots of short notes. Looks like an intense melody, as if for....boss music? Who could this "Grifter" be?
A lot of suspicious poly-meter here... Hmm... In the key of C... A lot of chromatic motion, too...

A mystery? Well, as much as I'd love to be Sherlock Quacks, I'm afraid I haven't the slightest idea myself. I'm an Organic Foghorn Grower, not Ludwig Von Barktoven. Looks like a lovely melody though. If you happen to stop by the Foghorn Orchard, would you mind dropping those off, dear Spade? Perhaps I could teach my Foghorns the notes! Wouldn't that be something? Musical Foghorns! Now that would be a sight to behold.

I'm a musician myself and I'm puzzled by this. The piano part would probably be the closest to my actual instrument clef wise... There's also no tempo marking... Perhaps playing it might give me a clue!
The 26th. Oh my. I hope we can figure this out! Maybe we can try and decode the words at the top first.
