Friend'a all things spooky and kooky, and all that is unflattering! My best friend of all is Jack o' Kazam himself. I always did enjoy a good story, and I've got one off the ol' bookshelf. There's no time to think, no time ta rehearse. Gather 'round, and I'll tell ya the story of the Black Cats' Curse...

There was once three Toons -- a dog, a deer, and a duck,
Round' town they met Jack O' Kazam, thinkin' for sure they were in luck.
Down the streets they dashed, trick or treatin' for candy,
But they got more than they bargain'd for, for the Black Cats were handy.

Who'da thought, they were completely surrounded,
Some with pumpkins for heads; they were completely confounded.
The next victims had been found, doomed to the Black Cats' curse,
There's no worse fate in all a' Toontown, nothin' worse!

Now, this is just a scary story, nothin' of the sort will happen,
If you want a real curse, you'd better strap in...

But there's more to this than just an allegory.
