Posted by The Toontown Team on June 15, 2025 at 12:00 PM
As Pride Month continues in its full rainbow glory, so do our celebrations! And, what better way to celebrate than to spotlight our very own LGBTQ+ Toontown Team members! They identify with a variety of labels, and tell personal stories of how Toontown has helped them discover their authentic selves and find acceptance.
Have we raised your queeriosity–er, curiousity yet? Keep reading to meet these fabulous Toons!
Gay and Lesbian
First up is Derrick – a Web Developer on the team! He is gay, which refers to men who are attracted to men. He is also known as his Toon, Breeze!
Next is Swaginator (a.k.a. Loud Wacky Jinxtoon) – a Discord Moderator who is lesbian! She’s a woman who is attracted to other women. Swaginator reflects positively on Toontown’s queer community:
“I'm happy to be part of a community that is so welcoming and accepting of LGBTQ+ folks that Toontown Rewritten has created, both within the community and the team. Thanks for everyone's hard work!”
Also, there’s Hannah! One of our Concept Artists who is a butch lesbian. This refers to a lesbian whose gender expression and traits present as masculine.
Pan and Bi
To follow are our pan-tastic and bi-rilliant team members…
Introducing… Cookie! A Community Engagement Coordinator and a Social Media Specialist who is pan! This means she is attracted to people regardless of their gender identity.
We also have Glenn, a Support Representative on the team! They are bi! Bi refers to people who are attracted to more than one gender.
Next to meet is… Julia! One of our Concept Artists. She is also bi! Here’s a fun story about queer culture in Toontown from Julia:
“One of the first times I thought 'man, maybe im not straight' was when i was roleplaying Warrior Cats in Acorn Acres on Toontown Online and had a lesbian romance with the medicine cat, and if that isn't queer culture in Toontown, I dont know what is."
Trans and Nonbinary
And finally, let’s introduce some amazing, trans-formative Toons!...
Brie is a Social Media Specialist and is trans! This means her gender identity is different from the one assigned at birth. She is pan too! Brie shares how Toontown has been key to shaping who she is today:
“I think that the real power of Toontown is and has always been bringing people together. It's this power that has brought me some of my greatest friendships. These people and their support are the reason I'm here today. I've spent a lot of time thinking about what exactly I am, and my conclusion is honestly that it doesn't matter.”
Next up is… Joey B! A Render Artist for the team who is also trans. He is bi too! Joey B. describes how Toontown has allowed him to express his authentic self:
“As I grew up, my Toon did as well. Being able to change his style to better fit how I viewed myself made me so more comfortable with my self-expression. The Toontown community helped me discover who I am today, and I couldn't be more thankful!”
To finish off… there’s Sav! They are a Social Media Specialist who is non-binary! This means that their gender does not fall into the binary of male and female. They are also lesbian!
Whew, what a happy and gay time we've had meeting all these wonderful Toons! So long, Toontown, enjoy the rest of Pride month and keep flying those rainbow flags!

HAPPY PRIDE MONTH TOONS!!!
this post makes me so happy... i love the non-binary lesbian representation specifically, as one myself. i love you toontown rewritten. thank you for keeping the nostalgia alive and allowing all of us to come together :)
GO GAY PEOPLE GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These are such sweet stories! I remember roleplaying as a warrior cat in Acorn Acres myself when I was younger and sorta miss the warrior roleplay clans in Toontown as goofy as they were at times. I'd love for them to make a comeback one day!
